As a seasoned public affairs strategist and avid news junkie, Mr. Caplan has made a career of renovating the air products of major-market news/talk radio stations in Pittsburgh and West Palm Beach, FL. He worked in radio as a reporter and producer at KDKA and program director at WJNO before entering public relations. In February 2004, Mr. Caplan founded his agency to champion issues in the public interest and on behalf of social justice and environmental causes.Aric Caplan frequently publishes editorials in industry trend magazines such as O'Dwyer's PR Report and has been invited to address audiences on communications panels as a public affairs practitioner whose insights and approaches continue to reach and influence target audiences and Capitol Hill with precision.

O'Dwyer AwardIn 2006, O'Dwyer's PR Report honored Caplan with the publication's first "O'Dwyer's Award for Public Communications Excellence" in the environmental/public affairs category for orchestrating a proactive campaign that effectively prevented the Environment Protection Agency from relaxing safeguards that prohibited the dumping of largely untreated sewage into America's rivers, streams and lakes. Annually, this award recognizes PR campaigns based on transparency, accountability and a high level of creativity to increase public understanding of an issue.
